Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Aleigha Bright, operating STARNOVA, handles personal information when you visit the experience, submit a traveler entry, connect an account or wallet, or purchase protected listening access.

Information collected

• Information you provide: name, email, traveler name, favorite track, messages, profile notes, and support or access requests.
• Purchase information: Stripe session and transaction identifiers, amount, purchased access, payment status, and purchaser email. STARNOVA does not receive complete card numbers.
• Account and wallet information: Puter account identifiers, username or email made available through sign-in, public Ethereum wallet address, signed verification result, network, and STAR eligibility. STARNOVA never asks for or stores a wallet seed phrase or private key.
• Usage and device information: selected listening signals, local experience state, browser storage, access cookies, request metadata, device/browser information, and security or service logs generated by hosting providers.

How information is used

Information is used to provide the experience; process and verify purchases; deliver protected audio; recognize access and STAR eligibility; save traveler requests and notes; measure aggregate listening interest; prevent fraud and unauthorized distribution; troubleshoot; respond to requests; maintain records; and comply with law.

Services involved

• Stripe processes card checkout and related payment data.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and functions and provides protected storage, access records, delivery, security, and operational logs.
• Puter provides optional sign-in and key-value storage for traveler profiles, access requests, and listening signals.
• Ethereum wallet and RPC services process public wallet addresses, signatures, and blockchain queries used to verify STAR status.
• Google Fonts may receive ordinary request information when the site loads its hosted font files.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may be processed in locations where they operate.

Cookies and browser storage

STARNOVA uses local storage and session storage to remember experience state and local counters. A signed, HttpOnly access cookie may be used to authorize protected playback. Puter, Stripe, Cloudflare, wallet software, and embedded resources may use their own necessary storage. STARNOVA does not currently use information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information for money.

Tracking choices

Because the current site does not conduct cross-site behavioral advertising, it does not currently provide a separate advertising opt-out. Browser Do Not Track signals are not interpreted as a standardized request. Where legally required, recognized opt-out preference signals will be honored for processing to which they apply. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, checkout return, or protected playback.

Retention

Purchase and access records are retained while needed to provide access, handle disputes, prevent fraud, maintain accounting records, and comply with legal obligations. Traveler submissions and account or wallet links are kept while useful for the requested experience or until a valid deletion request, subject to security, transaction, backup, and legal exceptions. Local browser information can generally be removed through browser controls.

Sharing and disclosure

Information may be disclosed to the service providers above, to advisers supporting the project, when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or infringement, or as part of a lawful business transfer. STARNOVA does not publish private traveler submissions or complete payment credentials.

Your choices and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or ask questions about its handling. Applicable law may provide additional rights, including rights to know, correct, delete, limit certain uses, opt out of certain sharing, and receive equal service when exercising privacy rights. Identity verification may be required, and lawful exceptions may apply.

Until a dedicated public privacy address is published, submit privacy requests through the Fellow Travelers contact form inside STARNOVA. Do not include wallet private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or complete card information.

Children and security

STARNOVA is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe information was submitted improperly or an account is compromised, contact STARNOVA promptly.

Policy changes

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting a purchase may require new consent where appropriate.
